[Make it Personal]

Make It Personal [4NTM]

This is the locate where we pledge for 4NTM

But Now...

[Our Glorious Dead]

It's the place where I experience all my fun.

Make It Personal is a project I give myself for 2009 Holiday Season

I still remember the day we pledge for to protect our country.
It was 4am in the morning where the whole Battalion was there.
[46SAR]
It was raining but we're showered by with blessing.

The Dash

The Dash Poem
by Linda Ellis

I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
From the beginning to the end.

He noted that first came the date of her birth
And spoke of the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years.

For that dash represents all the time
That she spent alive on earth
And now only those who loved her
Know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own,
The cars, the house, the cash,
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard;
Are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
That can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough
To consider what's true and real
And always try to understand
The way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
Like we've never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect
And more often wear a smile,
Remembering that this special dash
Might only last a little while.

So when your eulogy is being read
With your life's actions to rehash
Would you be proud of the things they say
About how you spent your dash?

New History

“New History”

is named after a song by Andy Davis

[a sly and soulful singer/songwriter]

whose protagonist has barely survived a bad breakup

and now finds himself unsure whether or not he should embark on a new romance.

He doesn’t know if he’s ready to trust his feelings

and created what he calls “new history.”

-

I love the idea of “new history”

It perfectly captures the relationship so many of us have with the past.

No matter how hard we try to let go of it.

All we’re really doing is creating new history,

trying to learn from past mistakes,

but inevitably making new ones that will haunt us in the future.

–– learn from mistakes; obtaining good and move forward ––

The past, it would seem, is inescapable.

Everything we are today is the product of who we were yesterday, last month, last year:

The choices we made

The red lights we ran

The things said and maybe shouldn’t have

The people we loved, we didn’t.

-

How to make peace with the past?

This has become a concern to me.

Yogyakarta

The people of Yogyakarta can see things from a different perspective.
They’re critical. They’re able to critic themselves, able to self-critic.

There’s this very popular Javanese philosophy that called the “Bejok” philosophy.
If a person got hit on the right eye, he would say that he’s lucky that his left eye was unhurt.
That meant that he could still see.

If you slipped while walking, they would say it’s lucky that it’s only your leg that got hurt,
and not your head.
Or worse, you could be dead.

Yogyakartans can laugh at themselves.
And this ability to overcome their inhibitions makes them more creative.

I understand I need every bit of this resilient optimism.

Hollowed Out Tribe

An author once said: Time was useful, time is not being used.
Leisure time on the imagination room in the gap,
If a room fulls of things the lack of space, we will feel uncomfortable; when we have room
Very spacious, the air out of the room where we feel very comfortable.
Similarly,
the reason, with leisure, we can feel that life.

In many developing countries, a group of ethnic appears, known as a “hollow ethnic” group.
With the continuous development of economic and social life speeds up, more and more White-collar workers will be wisdom, passion and creativity, and other consumption-the-job field, because the pace of life has not been able to "charge" that they have been gradually reduced to
" Hollow" ethnic.
They are in the fast-paced social life of the spirit Victims.
Therefore, how to balance work and life, set up between them the relationship is the key.

I understand that life is a spacious living, including your study, work, there is simple daily life.
It was narrowly life.
I understand that the in addition to the life of this narrow sense there's a broader life,
including three inside.
To a wonderful life, in addition to your work, study, there is still a narrow sense of life
this work is to cross wide of life and life more interesting.
If you do not work, do not study, just a simple life and no fun.
If you just work, study and life is meaningless.
Life should be a cross-together.
There is work, study, rest.
Will usually have time to accompany their parents, with friends, this life would be very rich,
will not be monotonous.

I am often in the leisure, drink tea, and take a look at people.
While tasting the tea, observing human, I taste the taste of life and cultural taste, a taste of leisure, at the same time a taste of family love, friendship and love. . .

See the value to Unfamiliarity and beauty in discomfiture

Can we get to the truth without any beauty?
If we try to arrive at the truth using beauty, we’ll get stuck at the level of appearances.
As a result, we have to get to the truth directly.
It would all look a bit raw.
But I still think that real beauty lies in the truth.
It may be ugly and gross.
It’s just too bad if you can’t stand it.
